Description

Update 04/09/2024:

Large parts of the handguard and stock now have modified versions that fit on the A1 mini and these can be downloaded in the files section.

A 1:1 replica of the famous AWP Asiimov sniper rifle. This gun shoots rubber bands with a bolt action mechanism and extra rubber bands can be stored in the magazine. The skin is fully 3D printed so you will need at least 1 roll of black, white and orange filament respectively. Internal parts can be any colour.

Due to the large number of print files needed for this model, I have organised them into folders in the files section. Support material will need to be added from build-plate only.

The building instructions provided are in PDF format and can be downloaded from the files section.

Because black PLA was unavailable, I used carbon fiber as a substitute. The result and feel were surprisingly good. Although sanding took a long time, the antique effect achieved after sanding is excellent, given the nature of carbon fiber PLA. Thank you for sharing the model. It's been a long time since I've been so engrossed in a task.

Really ingeniously made:) The print went flawlessly and the plates are very well sorted. The instructions explained the assembly well, I had no problems with it. In some places I felt uncomfortable with the m2x10 screws because of the lack of resistance and used m2x12 screws instead. This is probably due to small tolerances from my printer. However, you shouldn't do this in every place, otherwise the end of the screw will interfere with moving parts.

Addition: To be able to use rubber bands of different sizes, I created an adjustable hook for the runner which is fixed with a m3x6 screw. I am not familiar with the rights, therefore I am not publishing the remix, but will forward it privately.

My biggest print so far and the work on this model is fantastic. My only concern was the stability of the black part handle thats a bit loose, could be a user error from me but i don't think i forgot anything. The internal and stock pins was slightly too loose for me so i reprinted all of them at 104/105% on the X and Z axis to fit more snug. Overall 5/5 stars and boosted!

Turned out great! Took a lot of work and time, and some of the instructions didn't work out in the order they were listed but after figuring it all out, it turned out sick!

Do you mean the M4a4 howl? The skin would be difficult but I can give it a shot
