Description

A little on the bigger size for a keychain, but quite small for a minigun! The barrels each hold a plastic BB and they can be rotated after each shot for quick shooting action! It's a very satisfying fidget toy as well...

There is also a snub nose variant you can print if you don't have anything to compensate... Just print the Barrel Axle (Snub Nose) and Barrels (Snub Nose) instead of the normal ones!

Update 2024-08-05: Added a big boy XL variant, just because I can! 😅

Check out the RPG-6mm Keychain toy blaster over at my Thangs profile!

Love this thing! Only issue was the supports for the holes, tricky to get them out. I think you could get away with no supports on the holes at this scale. Also where do you get the BBs?

True. Easiest I've found to remove the hole supports is to put tweezers in the hole around the support wall and then twist and pull.

I got my BBs from a local airsoft store.

have you tried 3D printing your own BBs or projectiles? I'll give it a try myself.

Really great work, I'm impressed with your creation. I learned quite a bit, and I especially like the use of a screw as a trigger and the ammunition loading system. Thank you!

Thank you! I like the bolt mechanism because it takes care of three problems at the same time; locking the action back, stopping the firing pin so it doesn't fly out and giving the user something to pull the mechanism. I printed your rocket launcher a while back by the way, it's cool. 😏

@Jaatinen3D I really like your model, and I'm thinking about making a remix of it for my launcher vehicle. I think your mini gun would look awesome on my truck! What do you think, do I have your blessing? 😃

Sure! Well the model isn't remixable but you can make your own version. 6mm barrel version would probably be too bulky for the truck anyway. 😅

It doesn’t shoot and they’re supposed to be spring and 11 through it and there’s something random

Nice model, thanks. The firing pin has some wiggle making it harder to reload.

First thing I've 3d printed on my P1S, works great! Thanks for the design, I plan on printing the double barrel shotgun and rifle soon.

turned out great. just trying to find a suitable spring.

Pen springs worked fine for me, just stretch them out before inserting them so they have more power :)

I have tried several springs and it has no strength. The balls are difficult to put on and usually fall off. I'm sorry, but I don't like the design.

I ended up using a 2 mm M2 brass insert paired with a 12mm M2 screw, fitting it nicely in the stock M3 hole. Also used a spring around 40 mm (actually 1.5 inches). Lastly sanded the firing pin and barrels to make sure everything is nice and smooth. A drop of oil helps to further smooth things out. With the increased spring strength and decreased firing pin mass I can get it to shoot like 20 feet now with a proper arch, very pleased.
