Description

🦴🦴 Introducing our unique Vertebra-Inspired Pen Holder, a perfect blend of creativity and functionality for your workspace! Designed to mimic the structure of a vertebra, this eye-catching accessory not only organizes your writing instruments but also adds a touch of anatomical elegance to your desk 🦴🦴

The vertebral bodies come directly from a real CT-scan, modelled to become a beautiful pen holder but also a good anatomical replica.

Intervertebral discs are artificially added lately since it's difficult to distinguish them in the CT scan.

Its distinctive shape allows for easy access to pens, pencils, and markers, ensuring that your essentials are always within reach. Whether you're a student, artist, or professional, this pen holder is sure to spark conversations and inspire creativity. 🕮💡

My wife is a new doctor and now has a desk so I thought she would enjoy something related to her field that she can use, on her desk. it printed out great. I used white pla and transparent blue. it's a bit big and prob should have been scaled down to about 80-90%. She loves it though!

@chirow2000 You earn that by printing using makerworld. It’s a like a gift you can give to makers and it’s like 1$ in MakerWorld points. 😊

I had a little difficulty with the base, it includes a rounded rectangle and I took the opportunity to put the doctor's name on it. The piece is very beautiful, thank you.

I'm sorry about that, it worked well for me when using PLA+ for other types of filament, like Matt I have just added another print profile named: "1 Color, painted support, 0.24mm layer, 3 walls, 8% infill" which would fix the issues you had
