Description

After some feedback on reddit, please don't use the grinder module if you have any concerns about plastic ending up in your herb.

Instead, use the king sized rolling paper holder found in the print profiles.

Thanks for the model. I just made a few adjustments because it seemed unfinished to me :-) Papers with filters fell out and the pusher took up space on the joint, which was unnecessary. I also added one closing hinge to make the box seal better.

I absolutely love it, wanted to gift this to a friend of mine, have the P1S for 2 weeks now and exclusively printing PETG because i could get it very cheap. I actually really wanted the grinder printed as well, first time i tried i forgot to use support filament, which made it not possible to break off support tree's without breaking the grinder itself. The second time i did used support filament but still left with alot of junk which makes it unusable as shown in the picture. I am gonna try to maybe rotate the grinder 90 degrees upwards and not deal with supports at all.. perhaps that will work. I used Transparant PETG for the paper holder by mistake but it looks awesome! The only thing i might need to redo is the clip.. maybe a bit thicker overall because when some support material is left behind on the clip holders it tend to break.. maybe it's just user error though.. but thanks for the upload!

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for the kind words. I'm glad you love it! Printing exclusively in PETG is awesome. It’s definitely a bit of trial and error when it comes to tricky parts like the grinder. Rotating the grinder 90 degrees sounds like a solid plan, so fingers crossed it works for you! As for the clip, yeah, PETG can be a bit tricky with small details. Thanks again for your feedback and for giving it a shot! Your print looks absolutely fabulous!

Really cool print! I'm giving this to a friend as a birthday gift. you have to push a bit hard to make the locking mechanism go all the way, but this might be just a small issue with my filaments, it still works like it should and the internal modules are easy to remove but at the same time they stay in place tightly enough. the size is great as well... it's a bit shorter than an iPhone 14 Pro Max and twice as thick, but portable enough. great job!

Thank you so much! I'm really glad you like the design, and it’s awesome that you're giving it as a birthday gift. Actually, that was the motivation when i designed the box. I'm currently working on V2 and will have some much needed improvements after all the feedback. The print turned out great!

printed nicely. had some trouble with supports for the grinder, but that's just some adjusting. nice print overall. oh yeah took a lightbox stl, chopped it,sized it and added it 😏
