I created this as a single light switch cover and received many messages asking if I could make a double version. Well, here it is!

If you like this please leave a boost!

Here is an easy-to-print double light switch that makes it fun to turn on and off your lights!

21 pieces total.

The base plate will require support for a clean look. You can get away without support since the backside is not visible when installed. It's your preference. I used Geeetech Metal PLA and Geeetech PLA Bronze Rainbow filament for this project.

Assembly instructions are below. Enjoy printing!

Came out great, did some embellishing with silver paint to bring out the rivets and features. That support material underneath is super shallow and a pain in the butt to remove, would love to try with just strategic supports every few cm to see if it'd be easier

It was a pain for me at first too. Then I grabbed a razor and set it shallow. Then, cut the larger square out on the back. When I started pulling at the larger square, the whole back part came off at once.

great model, my son loved it. unfortunately it broke the first time he used it as kids are tough. I’m going to reprint with thicker walls or petg.

Is there anyway to only print these? Mine printed short

yes, if you use the cut tool in Bambu Studio you can get rid of everything but the pins.

Thank you! I originally made a single switch version and kept getting requests for a double. Now I'm waiting to get the triple switch requests lol

(Updated). This has been absolutely impossible to get together without breaking the pins. They’re just too big and too fragile to fit through the gears or through the handle. I’m going to try and reprint the handles a percent or two larger and hope that the next set fits without breaking. My suggestion would be to make the pins square instead of a plus giving them more strength internally and making them slightly smaller than the gears and the handles so that they’re easier to slide through. i’ll update this comment later if I’m able to get it working, but for now I just have a disappointed nine year-old. Update: Got it assembled and working. Kid’s excited, but it was a pain. Definitely needs tweaking.

Printed and assembled relatively easy with a part breaking during my assembly. But the giant issue is the fact of how hard it is to screw it on the light switch. I had to remove a ton of material from the bottom for it to screw on.
