Description

***Update 8/15/24***

Got some feedback about fitment issues of the tray not fitting well and/or breaking when put onto the ladder. So made some test templates that can be quickly printed so you can get one that perfectly fits your ladder as I have found out they are not all made the same. The measurement is center to center of the groove holes it would probably be best to start at 163mm and go from there, just be sure to print the test pieces at 0% infill to make the print quick as possible(took around 30 min using 15 grams on my A1).

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Tool tray for Werner ladders, this has been something I've been working for a few months and I'm pleased to share this. The tray slides and fits firmly into the grooves of the ladder and has extra storage for screwdrivers or bits. I have printed all of mine at 40% infill and has been able to handle the abuse I put it through everyday, if you have any questions or need changes please message me.

the idea is great... but i think need some adjustment. I printed in ABS with 50% triangle infill and 6 walls on my X1C.. and the cylinder that goes in the grooves snapped in half at the first try.. once inside doesn t make any difference the crack and look solid but still not for heavy items... As upgrade I ll suggest to add a strong support in the middle that fit to the hook on the ladder and a through-hole in the center of the cylinder to double the walls that can also be used to store 2 more bits ( screwdriver or so)..... Not sure about the thickness of the bracket....

Thanks for the feedback can you give me a rough measurement center to center of the groove holes (in millimeters) of your ladder also is your printer calibrated pretty good I had this issue before cause my printer was making it a tab to big and would break in the same spot. The extra holes is very good idea and I never intended it to hold a lot of weight more nuts and bolts kinda thing but has held a garage door opener without it breaking.

Hmm well when you can get me that measurement off of your ladder maybe the manufacturer isn't to precise and I'll have to make changes
