CHANGELOG :

22.12.2024 NEW VERSION V3 ! CHECK IT OUT https://makerworld.com/de/models/903332#profileId-862843

24.07.2024 NEW VERSION V2 released (Geometry modified for compatibility with X and P Series printers)

ENGLISH

Our Poop Shoot Cover for 3D printers is an exceptional addition for maintaining a pristine and efficient workspace

Its remarkably simple print process makes it accessible even to novice users

Ideally constructed from PETG (although ABS or other materials are suitable), it offers superior stability, durability, and heat resistance—ideal for demanding printing environments

Installation is effortless, and its ingenious design ensures seamless printer operation

Whether loading or unloading filament or during printhead movement, the Poop Shoot Cover remains securely in place

A particularly useful feature is the small retaining tab at the front, effectively removing residual filament

This maintains nozzle cleanliness and consistent print quality

The retaining tab is also designed for smooth operation across various nozzle diameters—from Ø 0.2 to 0.8 mm of the Bambulab Standard Nozzle

We eagerly anticipate your feedback and experiences with our PurgeShotcover

Your input is invaluable in refining our products to better meet your needs

Have a wonderful day and happy printing!

DEUTSCH

The nozzle gets stuck in the model, that is, in my case.

thank you for your message and rating - i am still working on the geometry of the model. i will inform you as soon as it is available. if you continue to have problems with the filament getting stuck and thus blocking the path or damaging your printer, please wait for the next version in your case.

Poop landet trotzdem auf dem Druckbett. Schade 😩

I have an x1e and the nozzle rest in the exact point where the notch is. Is this the same for X1's and P1's? The nozzle is melting that spot and extra filament is getting stick to it.I printed this piece in PAHT-CF o make sure it can handle any temperature in there.

Hi, thanks for your question, I will check the travel paths and dimensions of the sections again. Does your nozzle stand still during single-color or multi-color printing? or during the color change?

Hello, Thank you for replying. Yes, this is happening when the filament is loaded, so when single color printing is loading the filament the nozzle is about 1 mm or less to the left of the notch and increasing its temperature. In multicolour printing, at the beginning when the filament is loaded for the first time, I didn't observe the same behaviour while changing filaments. I was able to replicate this by selecting "Load Filament" in the Filament Menu. I increased the notch by about 1mm.

Unfortunately, the thing keeps slipping out.

Is it because it is too loose or because the print head collides?

Because the nozzle in this small "passage" apparently keeps pushing the thing up
