@anthgutierrez How did you manage to print him without supports? Mine failed about 70% into the print... I woke up to spaghetti :( I'm trying to figure out if it was a support/adhesion issue or my printer that had a tantrum this week with mesh bed levelling..

Used clear PLA for the crystals, the photo doesn't really do it justice - they almost look the the ones you used to be able to "grow" at home. Thanks for the cool model. Kids are pushing me for more colours now!

(probably a silly question) how'd you get the eyes only as red? I have an A1 with the AMS.

@Mobstar, did you use brims or a support? I am trying to print him on the A1 but having trouble... :(

What trouble do you have? im using the textured build plate without supports or a brim. Just clean the buildplate with 90+% isopropyl alcohol I have no problems with any of my prints

Sound great. Will also try once I finished my things for today so I can hook up some sunrise red-yellow with black or matte-navy-blue. we'll see. Yours looks really cool. But! I am always questioning myself, why do people print those? Why should I print one?

Dude, my first big print and I couldn’t be happier. Used trees for the support cause I don’t know what I’m doing but seemed to work great. 24 hours into owning a 3D printer and we have this beast!

what filaments did you use, they look amazing!

I used a rainbow silk matte PLA for the body and a magenta/Gold metallic silk for the crystals. Turned out better than ai could have hoped. The rainbow didn’t work great on smaller builds but is perfect for something like this.

New to 3d printing. What is this brick that the printer is making beside the model?

Welcome To 3D printing! Thank you for trying out my model! That is your purge tower, Every time the printer changes color filament, it will first "poop" out the old color and then extrude some of the new color to insure you don't get any of the old color on that layer. It will then move over to the purge tower and print a layer to insure that none of the old color is left in the nozzle and then it can start printing with the new color. It will do this for every layer that it changes color. Hope this helps :)

Hi - you can disable the purge tower in the Bambu Studio before you print. Go to Others > Prime Tower and disable it

0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill
Only the head has all the detail. The rest of the body is a single layer change at a certain level. Good print though.

I figured once I did the print. It was my first time actually doing a multicolor. Didn't realize it at first, but would've printed it anyway to save the filament. It printed great for my first multicolor print.

Do you know about how long the dragon is? I have a friend whose son wants one that can go around the back of his neck and was curious if this one is big enough?
