Description

Simple filament spool winder attachment for your drill. The attachment can be made with a M8 Bolt + Nut or with a M8 spindle with two nuts.

Specifically designed to not use any supports, see attached GIF.

Printed with P1S, good print, however I had to re-drill the holes with an 8mm drill bit and lower the 8mm nut to make it fit (the nut was already low profile)... otherwise everything is fine

Any tips on the length of M8 hex bolt to get? And are you using a washer + wingnut at the other side? And then are you chucking the threads right into the drill chuck? (It would be great to have a picture or two of the whole setup where these details are visible :) ).

I've added a section view image. Only a bolt and nut are needed, as stated in the description. I've used an 80mm bolt but this is a bit on the short side :)

Could you upload F3D or similar source CAD files? I'd like to change the hole and hex hole diameters to accept imperial hardware (like a 1/4"x20 bolt, etc.) - I'm finding it hard to source M8 bolts in the US :).
