Description

I'm pleased to share with you a magsafe charger that has 2 special features.

  • The first is that the charger can swivel to position your iPhone at the angle you want, so whether it's on your desk or your bedside table it will always be angled perfectly. You can also turn the magsafe vertically to charge your AirPods.

  • The second special feature is that the stand can be weighted down for greater stability and to make it easier to detach the iPhone. In my case, I emptied my children's piggy bank to find 100x 2€ cent coins (2€) and inserted them into the slots provided. I then secured the coins by closing the lid under the base. You're free to glue, but you actually don't have to, because I've designed the lid to fit and hold without glue.

(I haven't tested other ballast materials, but I suppose airsoft metal balls might work)

I use 2 of them at home, one on my desk with an original magsafe and another on my bedside table with a non-original magsafe whose characteristics are the same as an original (diameter and thickness).

All the printing information is in the print profile, I insist on printing the screw and nut in PETG or any other material with a strong interlayer bond. Depending on the calibration of your printer, you may need to spend a few seconds fitting the screw into the nut before assembly.

Bed Adhesion Issue:The print profile should have brim turned on, because currently the model doesn't stick to bed well and causes bad surface finish. I have wasted 200g of filament because of it. It isn't an issue with my build plate, as it was cleaned thoroughly before and works well with other prints.

Clean your plate and print again, putting 1 star because you have adhesion problems is not very correct because the problem comes from your printing surface and not the profile, I have printed all my prototypes without brim and it has always worked.

While unfortunately the 2 cents are no longer in rotation it does do what it is supposed to do, however I had a couple of issues with the base where the pieces didn’t fit in eachother. After messing around a liddle bit I’ve got everything to work and in most positions it can hold my 13 mini
