Interesting facts about this Lion: The Lion of San Marco, Plaster cast. In the center of the atrium of Palazzo Ferro Fini, the seat of the Regional Council, it is possible to admire the lion of San Marco, a symbol of the Serenissima Republic, donated by a former admiral of the Arsenal. It is a plaster cast, coming from an island in Greece, and was positioned in this place in such a way as to be the first figure visible upon entering, both from land and from the landing on the Grand Canal.
