the vertical spirals in the main body of the model wobble during printing creating a mobile print layer and eventually fail … cannot recommend this particular design. Two attempts failed at a similar height. not an adhesion issue

with same printer settings I get perfection with this model ... https://makerworld.com/en/models/517537#profileId-433799 Perhaps the spiral arms are not created solid enough and result in wobble the higher it gets resulting ultimately in an unstable print surface.

I will be trying this one by 3D Print Stuff next ... suspect more likely to be successful as not top heavy like the tower https://makerworld.com/en/models/546636#profileId-464595

I have been conversing with peers via social media and will be tweaking settings on their advice ... if I can get a good print I will upgrade my rating depending on the outcome

Support Issue:The tower failed while printing the top section. any thoughts on what I can change? I've never had this problem before (I'm new to printing). The balls printed great though!

I've released a print profile called "Slow Tower" that should be more successful for people experiencing issues. Just for my records what filament is this failed tower printed with?

Thanks, I'll give the slow tower a shot later today. The failed print was printed with Bambu Matte PLA.

the support pillars appear to be very helpful, but my print seems to have had an issue that prevents the balls from going through cleanly. not sure if that’s an issue on my end of of the design.

Hi, the tholerance is a little difrent from each printer. But the profile is working for a majority of people. But you should dial your settings for your printer😊

The model is good. Printed the spiral in PLA and the balls, lol, in PETG. The balls, lol again, definitely require post processing, and are a bit difficult to get them running smoothly through the spiral. All in all though, a good fidget to play with. Cheers!
