Description

A series of measuring cups, ranging from 1 cup to 1/8 cup. All sized at angles to represent their relative percentage of a whole circle - or in this case - a whole cup, for your viewing convenience. They also nicely nest together for easy storage.

Came out pretty well, printed in bambu translucent blue and pink PETG. I think if you flattened out the tops of the cups so that the contoured part and the text could be printed in a different color AND upside down with minimal supports they would look great. Mind the stringies, they just came out of the printer.

I had to switch the profile to use the default top and bottom surfaces for the layer height because the first attempt had a very uneven top surface to the inside of all but the smallest cups. Once I tweaked the print profile, the rest came out great. Printed in BL Translucent PETG purple with GIANTARM Black PETG for the letters. Slowed it down to 50mm/s for maximum translucency using 3 walls Inner/Outer/Inner. I printed these for a friend's son who struggles with fractions. Thank you!

Extremely accurate. Thank you so much. Happy bread making to me! Printed at normal speed with PETG HF

I love these. but I made the mistake of putting one in the dishwasher and it bubbled up and became slightly deformed. Definitely hand wash only. the pieces slide in together perfectly.

Lost one print due to a power failure. But printed again and they came out well. My only issue is the maths. If they all fit inside each other, and it's an eight of a circle, surely it can't be an 8th of a cup any more...

The volume of each cup is correct At first thought it would seem like that, but it's a bit more involved than that... and that's where the fun came in. It's almost like an illusion how we understand each cup to 'look' correct at first, that's just because the inner angle is equal to that of that amount of a circle, that angle just doesn't run through the center of the circle of any cup. It was a fun challenge getting those volumes to match with the angles. Hope that makes sense!
