Description

This revolutionary glove-like accesory will help you swim faster and better use your muscles during swimming resulting in better agility.

Be sure to print a pair before going on vacation!

Model is made to fit my hands (dimensional photo included, can be scaled to your proportions).

Can be printed with TPU 95A (will be stiffer but still wery usable).

Most suitable filament is TPU 30D (more flexible and you will be able to grab things easier).

Print orientation: middle finger facing down and touching build plate.

Supports: I recommend Tree Strong with 25 degree Threshold angle so the thumb is also supported..

Initially, I used eSun TPU-95A (blue). It was too stiff. Then I used Fiberlogy TPU-30D (orange) and that was it! Now it is flexible enough. I haven't tested it yet, but my daughter did and said it helps her swim.

Also thanks for the tip of lowering volumetric speed to 1.6

Actually I printed second fin with 2.0 volumetric speed and it printed really fine. So maybe it would be ok even with stock 3.2 mm^3/s for generic TPU but I don't want to push this filament to the limit because I don't like to disassemble my extruder ;).

Thanks, it's a great model. I used TPU 98A and TPU 95A.

just do it. use pla. Maybe download banbu studio to change the profile to pla but seriously I could upload a profile if there isn't one. honestly stiffer should mean more thrust just harder to use maybe

I was curious if it would work better printed as TPU. What have you tried?

you're supposed to scale it, hence the photo of my hand with the ruler

lol that's yoire fault. not all hands are same size. and one size fit all would just mean larger version that has little holes ro allow smaller or bigger fingers both etc

Brought these with me on my summer vacation I swam faster than I ever did, I always had trouble staying for long periods of time in water as I did not have fun but with these I stayed several hours at sea and managed to swim in strong currents easily. 10/10

I am so glad to hear that! I was on a vacation too and been in water for 3 hours with them. I've discovered that not only you can swim faster but slow swimming feels more efficient.
