Description

"Sisyphus, condemned to his eternal struggle, found himself in a new realm where the landscape twisted upon itself in a single, seamless loop. His boulder, familiar yet sinister, was now bound to the contours of a vast Mobius strip, a ribbon of reality with only one side. As he pushed, the rock rolled smoothly over the curve. There was no summit, no valley—just an endless, mind-bending path where time and space blurred. Sisyphus, unyielding as ever, pushed on, his toil now an infinite journey through the paradoxical geometry of the Mobius strip."

Embark on a journey through myth and mathematics with this unique 3D print of “Sisyphus on the Mobius Strip”! This intricate model allows you to push the figure of Sisyphus and his boulder along the mind-bending path of a 3π Möbius strip. Sisyphus and his boulder are print-in-place, so there's no worry about assembly! Perfect for lovers of classical mythology and fans of fascinating geometrical shapes, this print captures the essence of endless struggle and paradoxical beauty.

Print Settings:

I've found the best success printing Sisyphus boulder-side down (seen in image below) since it provides the best surface quality on the track. When printing like this, supports are necessary and organic tree supports seem to work well, although be careful removing supports around Sisyphus since he's a bit delicate. Feel free to tinker around and see if other settings work better!

Came out well. Sisyphus broke off the bolder when trying to remove supports but was able to super glue him back on. takes some working out to get the boat to move smoothly along the track. Used a rock/marble PLA.

This model is supremely silly but I still think it's absolutely fantastic. The print profile worked great and it's moving reasonably smooth with only 30 seconds work with a de-burring tool. It's possible it may get smoother over time and wear-in.

Really cool design for combining Sisyphus and a Mobius Strip. printed perfectly and functions very well after only minor cleanup. Thanks for sharing!

Unfortunately, the print didn't work at all. The supports cannot be removed (polyterra), there are residues and impurities everywhere. I really like the design. Unfortunately, the profile is unusable. very pity :(

Support removal was tricky, but with a little patience it went well.

5/5 for the design, 4/5 for the print profile cause the print did need some post processing with an exacto knife but after some rounds of Sisyphus' new torment it works great!

Overall it came out great. As others have said, carefully remove supports and a little cleanup/sanding and he makes it all the way around.

Perfecto donde no hay soportes. en los contactos El móvil no da la vuelta entera. Aún así, me parece un diseño precioso y extraordinariamente difícil. Gracias

Printed well. I printed it without the rock or Sisyphus.
