Description

Pickleball Paddle-In Fence Clip!

Printed with PETG, this clip allows for smooth transitions between players on and off the court.

As I go to more out and indoor courts, I find that there are no places to "paddle in" (a phrase used to determine who gets to use a decided court next). It is hard to find cheap pickleball "racks" as some industries call them.

I wanted to make a portable and reliable system that could make pickleball more affordable as a whole.

The rules that everyone should follow while using the courts is as such: If a court is full ( with 4 players) and 4 other players put their paddles in the clip, then all 4 current players will leave the court once their game is finished and the 4 who “paddled in” are now able to enter the court to play their game until completion. Then the next 4 players will enter the court etc.

After deciding to post this I noticed some similarities between my design and a few others so here's their credit:

I recently had the chance to use your design and I really appreciate it. It's been a game-changer for organizing play at our courts. However, I noticed that the back slot is a bit too close to the fence, making it difficult for some paddles to fit. Could you consider pushing the back slot forward a bit to allow more room? This adjustment would help ensure all paddles fit comfortably. Thanks again for your work on this—it's really helping to make pickleball more accessible and organized!

These are the kinds of comments that I look forward to seeing! Thanks for the positive feedback as well. Now that you mention it, it seems that I didn't leave enough room for the handles of those paddles in the back. I'll get right to editing the model! Thanks for pointing out this error! 💪

I just added a V2 print profile and stl to this model page! I haven't printed it yet as I haven't had the time today, but hopefully it works! (The stl file is the v4 file)

this is awesome! any chance you can make one with a clamp attachment for a table? our courts don’t have a chain fence around them but have the folding tables they put up when play is going on

Of Course! I'll get on that! if you would kindly send a picture of the table with a rough estimate of the thickness too that would be great!
