My son needed to bike to the driving range this summer and the problem arose how to bring his clubs, thus the over engineering began.
Using two of these Golf Club ‘Condors’ (gotta have a great name) you can not only quickly (using the print-in-place hinges and snap together press fit) attach four clubs together so they are not flopping around, but you can use a strap in the top ‘Condor’ (or in both) to make a virtual mini golf club bag!
Another use case (the original problem) - you can slide the ‘Condors’ to the middle and maneuver the clubs in place on a bike (as seen in the pictures) and then slide them back out and it will secure them to the bike for travel! …well, to my son's bike - I'm guessing there are many factors to whether it will be secure and work this way.
I'm looking forward to iterating on this in the future - it has been a serendipitous little invention that has actually worked to solve our original problem and more (with a strap it is a fantastic ‘bag’). Please try it and suggest improvements in the feedback - so far it's been solid.
