Description

I didn't see a balanced handle for A1 Mini with a spool on the left, so here's a remix.
I rebalanced the shape a bit to my liking and allowed a spool on the left. Expanded the ptfe holder adapter inlet as it's a bit as it's too tight. Added holes on the left side of the handle to allow spool mounting there too - in the original model you can only mount on the right which wouldn't work for me.

Initially, I even made my own version, but in the end decided to remix someone's model as an easier and faster solution

I think it's perfect except this notch doesn't allow the filament

How is the filament guide meant to attach? It looks like the dovetail on this model has been made more shallow compared to the original model causing all the guides to be misaligned

Well, I've extended it a bit in comparison to the original, if I'm not mistaken. If your filament guide can't fit, you can reprint it after slight adjusting of geometry in blender.

The print profile is no longer public
the model shrinks in bottom and becomes useless I had to throw it into dustbin

Sorry to hear that! What filament did you use? Print settings are the same as the ones from the designer, i only added the PTFE connectors. Sounds like a adhesion / filament problem.

Becuase of the dense infill, it could be a problem with this print if your printer is in the basement and it is rather cold. Try higher room temperature to compensate for shrinking. Mine printed just fine with this profile.

Doesn’t fit the original A1 Mini Spool Arm. the original spool arm has a curved edge on one side and I don’t want to force or break it.

Hey, can you pls share photos of how it conflicts? I installed mine fine, and that's why I shared it here.

Sure I can share a photo. The issue is where is slides on the black piece, it’s is not flat, one corner has a slight curve.

Hello, nice Idea but the holes on the left side (if mounted) are not working for me. they have to be more to the edge since the orig. Spoolholder is meant to be on the rounde edge on the printer. i ended up using the original version since there is the rounded edge.

Hey, replacing the screwholes is kinda easy, but with this position I was able to use original spool holder and have it print just fine.

Hey, thanks for the boost. I noticed that your holder has rounded part between holder and base, but was not in the final model. Can you please update preview/model so they match? Or am I mistaken on which model I remixed?
