Description

I wanted to build the “Heat Set Insert Press” by duck.knapp and saw that my soldering iron adapter set wouldn't fit in his prepared base.

So I went to CAD and changed the hole sizes to fit my existing set of insert adapters and I wanted to share this with you.

The sizes of the holes are:

M2 - 6mm

M3 - 6mm

M4 - 7mm

M5 - 7mm

M6 - 9mm

M8 - 9mm

Would it be possible for you to create a version with 7 holes for inserts? In addition to your 6 inserts I've also got a M2.5 one that would need a 6mm hole. (Your set does too, so I was wondering why there is no 7th hole?) That and ... a A1 Mini version would be greatly appreciated. Maybe you could take the original creator's A1 Mini profile for just the corner piece with the insert holes and modify that?

Hi, I just added a print profile for the A1 mini. Let me know if it worked for you if you are printing it. I haven't put in a hole for the M2.5 insert because it is no standard screw and I simply don't use it. Also, there is not enough space on the model to put it there and its hard to edit because I only have the STL and no real CAD files for it.
