Description

This is a string art model of the Space Banshee from Halo: Reach. Surrounded by a Halo ring, the model really stands out as it floats in the middle.

Please make sure that supports are turned OFF

Make sure to turn Arachne on in the wall generation settings so that the strings slice properly.
Glue is needed to fuse the two halves together.

You could maybe change the line width and layer height in your slicer settings to make them thicker

Your filament may need to be dried. I'm not sure what exactly the issue is but it might be the filament or incorrect filament settings.

Printed very nicely, I'm surprised the strings made it. I colored in the purple myself which took ages since it kept filling in areas it shouldn't. I also printed with supports on the wing tips, they didn't interfere with anything. I just need to get glue so I can stick it together!

Support Issue:one of the supports has the strings going through it, which makes it virtually impossible to take off as well as some supports are in very difficult places to remove (specifically between wing and body)

Strength Issue:the strings do hold the ship but a lot of the supports take a lot of twisting and force to remove, and the strings end up breaking. I imagine it is possible to remove the supports and have it work out well, but it is very difficult. overall though, the model quality is good and it looks very cool
