Description

This Vortex fidget toy uses gravity to propel the nut up and down. I spent quite some time getting the helix angle right so the nut would spin most satisfyingly.

The model is printed in place with just some tree supports holding up the nut while printing, which can easily be removed. The clearance is in a way that it can be used right away without the need to “break it loose.”

This is the third version of my fidget toy spiral. This version is quite a bit longer and thus even more satisfying to let spin up and down :))

Also, I added chamfered angles to the design. This change ensures that the spinning nut won't get stuck as easily, providing a smoother and more enjoyable spinning experience.
