Description

I created this bulkhead fitting to adapt my hydroponic tower to a 5 gallon bucket without the need for hardware.

This fitting was designed specifically to be compatible with the “Modular Hydroponic Tower Garden” posted by christiansotelo2244, but may be compatible with other similar builds and/or re-mixes.

Does anyone know what the diameter of the tower hole is? I printed a similar one but my tower didn't fit.

Not sure I follow your question 100%, the hole in the container lid should be about 4.625” or 117.5mm in diameter to fit the bulkhead fitting. The innermost diameter of the tower body that interlocks with the bulkhead is about 107mm in diameter, but this fitting was designed for a specific tower, the “modular hydroponic tower garden” posted by christiansotelo2244, hope this helps!

Great, thank you. I was looking for the info on the innermost diameter.

Great project, can you tell me the diameter and height of this bucket?

It’s a standard 5 gallon bucket you would find at your local hardware store or Home Depot etc., a quick Google search implies a height of about 14.5” and an upper diameter of about 11.8”, hope this helps!

I have probably missed something here. Is there a Lid that comes with a hole already? or how do you cut the hole in the bucket lid so this attachment can fit?

You have to cut the hole, unless you can find something somewhere, in which case let us know if you do!
