Yay! Another test cube! Are you tired of printing the same test cubes over and over, if so, try this one for a change!
This one also works well as a fidget toy, it was not my intention to make it a fidget toy, but I couldn't help but play with it while searching around on Makerworld.
It's a 30x30x30 test cube with a tolerance of 0.2mm between the outer and center parts. The hexagon opening on the one side has some nice overhangs that show how well your part cooling is, and the sides and top can be used to judge if your over or under extruding.
There are three different models in this set, one just has a typical ‘Z’ on the top, another one is blank, and the third I put a Benchy scaled down to 38%.
Adding the benchy was pretty easy, I just loaded the blank top cube then within the slicer I selected the cube and selected “Add Part”. I then loaded a benchy as the part. Scaled it down and placed it on top of the center section of the cube. And that's it. So, I encourage you to add whatever you like to the top of the blank test cube and make it your own. If you do, please upload your profile I'd really love to print it. Let's see what kind of cool test cubes we can make. LET'S MAKE PRINTING TEST CUBES FUN AGAIN!
