Description

COBOT: Four servo legs and distance sensor robot

I present my latest project, COBOT, a robot that can move thanks to 4 servo motors and get the distance to obstacles with the HC-SR04 distance sensor.

This is an ongoing project I have made both a guide on YT and a written guide which you can find at the bottom of the page.

In the Assembly Guide Manual you can find elettronics schematics and the arduino code.

I look forward to hearing what you think and for you to send me your proposals for additions or new functions.

If you like this project please consider boosting me and subscribe to my yt channel.

Thank you very much.

Hello! The model uploaded is clearly not the same as the one in the video; nothing matches with the servos. :(

you have to insert the servo from the outside as show in the build video. the servo attachment can be different but the small holes distance is the same, in alternative you can use some glue only for the legs :)

Hello, excuse me, I wanted to know how I can power it

A 7.4-volt 1200mAh lithium-ion battery, or you could use AA batteries in series and parallel, but it will be significantly less powerful and may struggle to operate all servos simultaneously

is it remote control and how much does the electronics cost all together

no, you have to upload your Arduino sketch every time you want to change. But I want to add an HC-05 Ble module and design a simple flutter app to remote control this or other kind of robot. I'll make a tutorial for It asap.

If you buy the elettronics on AliEx or something like that, this will cost about 10 dollars or less.

ok thank you I don't know much about coding or anything like that but this robot seems pretty cool

the robot is cute and printing was easy and smooth but the hardware and circuit explanation is kinda confusing there is no info about the battery to use or voltage, regulator... the video attached skips that part. I'll try to build It anyway and then come back to rate :)

How did you do that

COBOT Kit
Instructions inclide images for what I assume is a newer version, This does make it somewhat confusing. A file for the circuit board shown in the instructions would be nice to see for those of us without tools to create one.

When I select A1 Mini as the printer, the COBOT KIT disappears, only allowing me to print 4 legs, 1 leg, or just the cover.

for some reason you have to go on Makerworld and open it Bambu Studio; it's the only place where the full body is available (when no printers are selected).

I tried printing the file but there’s only the cover plate. The chassis and legs are missing.
