Description

These 119x170mm Baskets are ideal for anyone and everyone.

DO NOT SCALE DOWN- This model is intended to be printed at this size - Please make sure to use Designer Marked Profiles

Features:

  • Low filament usage - can be tuned further
  • ~3 Hr Print time - 0.28mm Layer height
  • Hexagon pattern - Hexagons are the bestagons
  • Interior rim that allows baskets to stack
  • Optional Hexagon pattern lid - Great for desks and offices

Tested with - Esun PLA + and Bambu Lab PLA Basic, I tried Uzy - but the filament was not very high quality and the hexagons kept warping

Slow down the print if you are having issues with poor quality filament - Buy bambu lab!

I wanted a storage solution for my own space so I made these, I hope that you enjoy printing them in as many colours as I have!

I hope you enjoy this model.

Consider giving me a boost if this model was useful!

Brilliant crates! I created a stackable mod to make them in to drawers for my hobbying cabinet. Only downside, is now the wife wants some too!

I've hesitated to 3d print storage bins due to the material cost but this one does the trick: looks good, optimized for filament use, stackable, and pretty fast to print! I highly recommend.

Yes, several actually! I finally found a use for the yellow PETG filament someone gave me. Highly recommend.

wow, thank you for such a lovely set of compliments! is there anything you would like for the next version? I will be making the scaled versions today with correct wall and bottom thicknesses, I was thinking of making a pen pot lid so the basket can live on a desk

Might be worth drying that PETG out a little :) it seems like its very damp! Also I am very appreciative that I could help, and thank you for liking my designs!

Nice model, printed with ERYONE tri-colour silk PLA. Slight deformation at bottom of handle part due to excessive overhang so this could be improved in the model, but otherwise good, feels pretty sturdy. Printed with A1 Mini

would you be able to send a picture. I am pretty damn meticulous and I did account for some overhangs but just want to see what the issue was. Also silks are know to be extra oozy!

Could someone tell me why this is happening? The filament is new, temperature, flow dynamics and rate are calibrated

That helped. I also set the Z-hop and retraction to 1mm. Could that have been it? I'm boosting :)

this is my second attempt to us Bambu PLA black to print this storage basket. while not as bad as my first attempt the bottom separates from the side and there several places in the honeycomb where there are gaps

I've printed lots of baskets off Maker World and this is by far my favorite style! The A1 size was too small for my needs, so I created a profile for larger beds that are still stackable. Thanks!
