Description

A 50% version of the famous NES controller.

And what do you do with such a small thing? You put it on your keys :)

Updated the printprofile with coloured parts so it´s easier to see whats what.

I tried to print this with a 0.4 nozzle and this is the result. Not perfect, but with a little distance it really looks the part.

I printed this with the “poor-mans AMS” technique.

I really would recomend to use the textured PEI plate for the front. It hides the printlines the most in my experience.

Start by opening the “Objects” tab above the preset list. On plate 1 you have the multi-colour parts.

Uncheck evertything exept the red text. Make sure you uncheck the dots in the A and R.

Hit print, bed level and flow dynamics calibration is optional, and send.

When the print is done (30 seconds ish) make sure to REMOVE the PURGE-LINE and change the filament for the dark grey. And change it fast so the bed temperature doesn't fall too much and the red text falls off.

Now, In the “Objects” tab, uncheck all the text and check the greys only ( shuld be nr. 2,3,4,5,19 and 20) and hit print. Now UNCHECK bed leveling! and send.

Again, when its done, remove the purge-line, change filament, uncheck all exept for the black (should be nr.1). Hit print, uncheck bed leveling and send.

Now you shuld have a finished front for the controller. It is nothing special with the rest of the pieces.

Happy Printing:)

how did you get so much detail using .4 nozzle, I used .2 and it seemed worse

Have you tried using your own .2 or bambulabs .2 presets? Because the settings in ny print profile were really optimized for a .4 nozzle

Replying to @SoDR :
I used bambu presets for .2, I didn't use the .4 I thought the .2 would have had more detail that's all

wow, yeah! Mee too! Maby a calibration problem with the filament? I'm just spitballing here! I really thought a .2 would be much moore detailed

I'm just breaking out, so I'm a bit limited in knowledge and resources. However, I slightly modified to print the entire assembly and the bottons separately. Airbrushed the buttons, then assembled. Created, printed, and cut a permanent vinyl sticker for the face. I know it's not optimal, but I don't have red filament and I like the clean look of the vinyl sticker. .4 nozzle, .16 layer Awesome design. Thank you!

Good design!! I only changed the order of the colors when printing so that red would be the first color and give a little more definition to the texts.

If you angle the view to underneath the buildplate in bambustudio it´s easier too see witch part is checked and unchecked. Or you could uncheck part nr.1 wich is the black base plate.
