Hi, I printed it in PETG and PLA, and the PETG part broke at the screw on the turn knob side. Perhaps I turn the knob to tight, but I think the problem is the layer adhesion when turning the screw to hard it breaks. We will see if it survies my son :). I think increasing the screw diameter would help or

Thank you very much for the feedback, I'm currently working on a larger version, so I'll take that into account. You can also attach the head with glue, then you don't have to tighten it so much. You can also lubricate the threads to make them run easier. Or you can try with other printing temperatures or infill🤷

Mega cool. I printed it with my Creality K1 out of ABS. The screw and nuts unfortunately did not turn out so well despite a 0.1 layer. I would improve the following in the next version: I would realize the right-hand thread part with a threaded rod and nut that is screwed/glued into the center part. This part is subjected to the most mechanical stress. The left-hand thread part made of metal will be difficult. At the swivel joint on the adapter plate, I would allow about 0.2 mm more clearance. Mine is very tight and broke very quickly. All in all, a great construction and hats off for the file. Really cool and my boys had a lot of fun with it.

Thank you for your feedback. I am now aware of the issues. I have made a second version where the threads are also different and larger… unfortunately, I haven’t had time yet to write instructions for assembly, so it’s not uploaded yet. I will upload them soon. I am always happy to receive such feedback, as everyone can benefit from it… Thank you
