I came across the plant wall clip by Lee Tokyo and it was exactly what I was looking for, but I hate having to bond components and I didn't want to use adhesive to stick these to the wall, so I modified it to allow fixing using a 3/8" standard thumb tack, and added a locking feature to allow the clip to snap securely into the base. I did this for a friend, so I haven't had a chance to fully vet it out, so please let me know if you find anything wrong! Thanks again to Lee for his awesome design.
