Description

It´s a remix of mathiasdela´s design.

I wanted to have a moveable handle, to lay it flat if the tray is in the shelf but one that will stand if I have the tray outside at work.

The design is made for 6 or 10 batteries. More would be possible if I remix one part, but I think it makes no sense because it will get heavy then.

On my A1 mini the parts have a snug fit. It could be that you have to carve the edges of the handle rotation points a bit, depending on how easy you want to move it.

It was printed with PETG Wasserblau from Bavaria Filaments.

To mount the tray, you have to take the two parts with one hinge on the top ("out 6" or extension “10”, put in the handle an lay it flat on the side.

Then slide the “middle” part from above over the dovetails and press it down (in my case it snapped a bit). Gravity will do the rest, I think there´s no glue needed.

Will do the same for Bosch Professional, soon. Literally they would fit here as well, but they wobble a bit and don´t klick in the fastening grooves.

Printed with PLA in grey. Very tight fit between the parts. But very sturdy.

thanks. you can loosen the fit a bit, if you cut the edges of the dovetails a bit with a cutter knife

There's a little bit of play but not bad. Gravity holds it together just fine.

Mostly its the perfect battery holder... Palces all my 3 parts together in 1 plate and printed with Bamboo black PETG but used my own settings with wariable layer height. Would be nice if those 3 parts somehow locked together more tightly, i will use some screws, just in case i will need to add 2 more extension parts. Why are you placing those parts in 45° angle? thank you

With my printer (A1 mini) I had to remodel the parts twice, because the fit was too tight. So I think it may differ from printer to printer, how accurate they work. But normally the parts should hold by gravity, that´s the reason, why I slid the middle part in from above. The reason why I placed it 45 degree was, that someone told me that FDM printers work faster and with less effort because they can use both motors instead of only the bed/head motor. Don´t know if this is true, was a try.

With PETG and the standard profile here, I had a perfect snug fit between the tree parts.

Came out great! I printed this as a gift for my dad and am happy with how it turned out. I used Bambu ASA and had to hammer it a little bit to get the pieces flush but I shouldn’t have to worry about it coming apart. Thank you for the model!
