Description

An adorable and magical treat that will transport you straight into the wizarding world 🐸

Inside this enchanting box, you can fit one (or many tiny) chocolate flexi frogs!

Commercial License available on Patreon: SugarPaws3D

Notes:

I don't know if I have to say this but - please do not eat your chocolate frog buddies...😳

When scaling the box + lid , be sure to select both objects and scale together to ensure they will fit together

Supports needed for the lid only - I used Snug Grid supports and they came off easily with little scaring to the bottom surface

Frogs tested down to 50% while the box can be scaled down to 60% before losing too much detail on the design (Lid is separated by object so you can remove the text if you'd like)

Filament Used:

Bambu Labs: Matte Dark Brown

Bambu Labs: Matte Charcoal

Elegoo: Matte Lavender Purple

Gold box details I used Premium Gilding Paint by Craft Smart for an extra pop

The model itself is fantastic! The only issue is that at the default size, it won't print correctly with a .04mm nozzle without losing details in the print, specifically the fine lines. Part of the capital C and the E in the word chocolate and, some ribbon is lost to the nozzle being too large to print it. I tried all settings, and needed to change to a .02mm nozzle to get all the detail. Unfortunately, I ran into clogging issues, and haven't been able to finish yet. Will update in due time.

@ShadNuke The files were updated a day or two ago so the lettering doesn't cut out, wall generator was switched to Arcahane which fixes that problem ( :

New model when sliced will fix the lettering issue, only a small part of the ribbon above the "h" is cut out with .04 nozzle. You may have the old file still so I would delete it & download the updated one!

Love this print. Changed lid supports to tree(auto) and tree slim. Came off very cleanly and easily. Lid fits great. also changed Wall Generator to Arachne on just the lid. This fixes the issue some were having with the lettering.

nice file, lids a bit tight but nothing sandpaper can’t fix. used flexi factories frog sized at 60% instead of the one in the file. also used overture PLA purple silk for the box. 50% outer wall speed on the box, no size change on it.

I thought about that frog too. I didn't know the scale down. And My wife said it also in a separate conversation. Good thinking :)

Yeah it does well at 60% with your box, also used Gold Pasca markers for the letters after my daughter told me I needed to fill them in. I might do an AMS file later with changes but I don't really see the point after painting it lol

Nice print! The lid is difficult to fit so a bit sanding and burn to make it work. The flex frog fits well, kid loves it.

Thank you I will adjust so the fit isn’t as tight on the lid. I wanted it to close securely but seems a few have had trouble with this

Very cute. Had issues removing the lid supports. Other than that, adorable print.

Much appreciated feedback , I used some needle nose pliers & mine came off in once piece using PLA for supports. I will see if I can fix it for easier removal ( :

printer perfectly, I didn't catch it had supports turned on so I will most likely need to reprint it. Model is perfect though.

Fit together perfectly, has a funky spot by the C but that is settings more than the model I believe.
