Description

A fully 3d-printed tripod for taking stable photos and videos with cell phones or cameras such as GoPro.

Information about printing:

  • no other external parts are needed, everything is printed
  • no support is required
  • the ball joint has in-build support and is printed in place, so it needs to be loosened with a little force after printing

Other than the "balljoint part" it printed out nicely, the joint started moving, so it got a slight layer shift, so a may need to print it again using speed modifier for the joint

Didn’t had any printing issues at all. I believe this tripod has potential. I needed this for a Samsung Galaxy S5 and it’s ok. Here are some suggestions: - iPhone 12 fits ok without the case-because it’s a bit bulky. iPhone 12 pro max does fit, but a taller extender would be perfect. - A version with a rubber band would be nice for a quick fit/remove the phone from the holder. - I used spring washers for stability. Needs a smart approach to help with feet angle adjustment and better stability.

Print easily and without issues. :D To improve the model: - A locking mechanism in the slide system where the phone is mounted. Every time I take out the phone, this part falls on the floor. :) - More grip and movement on the legs.
