1. Adjust the height so that it can be placed vertically on the desktop with the official protective case.
2. Add threaded holes to the bottom, even though it is plastic.
   1. This way you can directly mount a mini tripod without needing to add an official extension handle.
   2. You can also purchase hardware yourself and use a soldering iron to heat up the hardware and melt it in for added strength.

It is recommended to use only on a desktop, not handheld, as the camera may fall out from inside.
