Description

I wanted a spool holder that I could use by myself and was easy to use. When adding line to your reel, you can now do it worry free. No more birds nests. The built in tensioner makes sure that when you stop, the spool stops. Simply place your spool in the holder, place your foot on the foot pad, and start reeling up! Enjoy

This print make putting line on a new reel a breeze, no more pencil in a box! I initially had problems with a spool of Suffix Resolve being held too tight and thought it was the print but when I tried a diffrent brand I had no issues. Could be issues with that priticular spool, or user error, either way it wasn't the print.

I’m wondering if the spool you’re using is a wide spool? Suffix sells a lot of wide spools. As show in the picture, this is designed to hold the smaller standard size. would you be kind enough to send me a video and pictures of your set up? This is the first feedback I’ve heard of such an issue. I would more than willing to make a new design that fits your needs. Thanks!

It’s just a regular spool nothing crazy thick. Here’s a picture, I can’t do a video because I don’t have a spare reel.

Did you have your reel on your fishing rod, and the line ran through the eyelets when you put the line on the reel? Is the hole through the spool larger than the diameter of a pencil?
