Jerkbait Fishing Lure

Description:

This lure allows you to adjust the casting weight and balance individually – easily through the Bambu Studio software. This way, you can optimally tailor your fishing gear to your own needs and experience.

 

A special highlight of the Jerkbait fishing lure are the at least two integrated stainless steel balls. These balls collide when retrieving the lure, producing an enticing noise that attracts predatory fish and increases your chances of a catch. 

 

The sounds mimic the movements of an injured baitfish perfectly, enticing predatory fish to bite.

The print file contains two models. The first model is the main body, and the second is a negative body where the steel balls will later be located. The orientation of the body affects the center of gravity and thus the sinking path of the lure. If you change the orientation (i.e., the tilt), you also change the center of gravity. Please note that this also depends on the number and size of the balls.

 

In my model (print file), 3 balls with a maximum diameter of 6 mm can fit.

Before printing

 

If you want to make adjustments, click on the negative body. 

Using the Bambu Studio commands Move, Rotate, and Scale, you can adjust it according to your discretion and experience.

 

Printing process

 

At layer 360 (72 mm height), I inserted a pause. The printer stops, allowing you to insert the steel balls. After inserting the balls, you can manually resume the printing process.

 

 

final work

Mount the treble hook with a split ring. I bought these components separately (see bom).
