AMS Silica Backpack box / desiccant container for the niche behind the rollers

 

I think these popular Silica Dry Boxes for AMS are really brilliant and the last time I recharged Silica Beads I asked myself why there isn't a box for the niche behind the rollers yet? For example, one like this one here! 🤩😅 This Box fits perfectly into the niche, is easy to print, to refill and looks cool too! 🦾😎 The lid fits the box perfectly and is easily pushed in. It is securely held in place by a tab on the bottom. 😊

Print Instructions: 

Quality:

  • layer height: 0.2mm

Strength:

  • wall loops: 3
  • top shell layers: 0
  • bottom shell layers: 0
  • sparce infill density: 50% (for 3mm silica gel beads is top!)
  • only one wall on top surfaces: off
  • only one wall on first layer: off
  • sparce infill pattern: Triangles
  • Infill/wall overlap: 20%
  • Infill combination: off

Speed:

  • first layer: 20 mm/s
  • first layer infill: 50mm/s
  • outer wall: 200 mm/s
  • inner wall: 300 mm/s
  • small perimeters: 50%

⚠️Filament: PLA is good enough!

 

👌Just take a look at this video, here you can see how you can easily fill this Backpack with Silica and install in AMS properly! 😍👍

 

Cool funnels for AMS silica/dry pods:

These funnels are very easily put on instead of the lid (but specifically not as tight as the lid!) and stay on the pods by themselves and can be comfortably held together with the pod on the funnel handle! In addition, the pods can be easily filled to the brim because they are clipped on from the outside. 👌😍👍
Funnels for AMS Silica Backpack - just slide out the lid from the AMS Silica Backpack and slide this funnel instead - it fits perfectly to the AMS Silica Backpack and helps to fill this AMS Backpack with silica comfortably! 👌😉

printed it well, quite soft, not strong, need to handle with care otherwise will break easily. but works well thank you

But it still strong enough for this purpose, even with PLA. yes, i will do that. let me ask one question. can u make your fan muffler only with screws ? i tell u why i ask this, i put in my P1S SIS feets and with vibration with magnets keeps moving your design and i like a lot what u make. cheers

Thank you very much for great support! 🙏😍👍 Please take a close look in my designs - there is a one version with magnets AND one screw - it works perfectly on one of my X1C for years! For more screws you will need to drill the back panel.. not really cool. And there is no need for that - try this version! 🦾😎👍

I'm having a bit trouble printing the Model. I did try to use the best rated print profile on my P1S. It printed as a whole Area without the triangle shaped spacing. Later i saw that it showed it that way in Preview here on Makerworld. Does any one have an Idea what went wrong?

Hello! 🖐️😃 I think you haven’t set the Settings from Print Instructions in the Description.. There are such important ones like Top Layer and Bottom Layer = 0 and 50% Triangle infill, etc… then you would get these triangles holes. Or better print my Print Profiles directly from App - there are all settings in! I hope you will like it and if you will support me and this design, you can boost it (small Rocket 🚀 button) Thank you in advance! 🙏😍👍

Weired, when i print it from the mobile App it works fine. When i import the settings into Bambu Studio it fails, double checked the settings from the description. Might be a Version related Problem of Bambu Studio, will have a closer look at it. Thanks for your Help!

This one is odd. It prints solid. There are no openings for air flow. It looks solid in the slicer too.

Can Confirm = this fits in the Stock AMS , a little loosely , BUT Zero fear of it falling out 10/10 Great Design , will Boost when i have one availible! I printed this with no-name gerneric PLA (not cleaned up yet) using the detault profile .. and it came out just fine!

UPDATE: Between this AWESOMENESS , and these Desiccant inserts https://makerworld.com/en/models/459881#profileId-368227 , I am now at '1' Humidity level on the software - AND IT HAS RENDERED MY AMS METER USELESS!! it now read 'LL' all the time (LOL!) SOO GREAT! , Everyone needs to Print this!
