Description

I loved the Heavy Saber from 3D Printing World and so did the kids but the blades kept breaking and the hilt is a bit to big so I made my own to better fit the kids hands. Id recommend doing a few test prints of the blade by scaling Z to 20mm or 30mm.

Hilt is strongest with 4 perimeters and 30% to 50% infill, no supports, brim if poor adhesion. Heavy infill mainly need in the cap to help the bottom from blowing out when collapsing the blades.

Thanks for the review, i saw your other comment and was gonna say supports aren't necessary but can help with the hilt.

This came out great. I used silver for the hilt and translucent blue for the blade. Works great.
