Description

I was cleaning out my printer of little filament bits and strings and looked in these holes and they were almost filled! I whipped this little cover up to prevent this in the future. Have a look at your printer, do you have filament bit build up too?

I tested this with ABS, ASA, PETG and PLA.

I understand the concern and that these look very similar but I designed this model on my own and you can download my Fusion 360 file to see my work. I uploaded the Fusion file as well as the STEP. It's such a simple design solution there aren't many ways to go about it. Looking on the site there are a few others that are super similar as well. I assure you I did not copy and paste your model or even look at it for inspiration. I hope both of these models can coexist. Its actually kinda funny that almost all comments I read from that guy are rude comments where he is pretending to be the author of all inspirations, while there is clear evidence of him using other peoples design for his models. Anyway, keep up your work and enjoy my boost ^^

Quick and effective print. It's only my second day with the printer, so I might have been better off not trying crazy things, but I decided to see if I could add text to the cover. It worked, maybe not super clean, but it completed the print and it looks decent. Deff worth printing this cover

it’s too thin. with one print it just bent a little bit and it doesn’t stay flat 😞

If you like you can increase the Z dimension in Bambu Studio to thicken it. Won’t matter if the rest of it gets taller. Hope that helps!

Can you help me locate the file you used to plug the other hole in the back? This is eluding me. Thanks even if you can't help, you made me aware that this exists.
