I have revised the model of the DJI Avata 2 gimbal protection once more:

- Clamping force at the top and bottom has been strengthened

- I have tried to keep the field of vision as clear as possible

(only with the camera tilted downwards to the maximum is something still visible, less was not possible due to stability)

- An additional hood has been added that clips onto the mounted protection from the front. The hood can be clipped onto the installed camera protection, so that it does not have to be placed against the original DJI for storage. If the cover is too loose at the top/bottom, you can carefully heat the curves and press them together slightly on the opposite side, closing the C-shape a little bit.

Removing the cover can be a bit tricky the first few times. It is best to push/press it to one side, so that the other should come loose and it can be swung out to the front.

Camera view max. downwards - Original condition at the top - With printed protection at the bottom

Thank you for this V2, no more problems where we saw the edge in the camera, and it holds up much better. Very good job 🙏

Easy print. Had to figure out how to mount it. But with a bit more pressure while mounting it fits perfectly. The cam protection cover is also a nice addon. And still fits in the original bag! Nice. Thanks.

Hi thank you for the design Idk if others tried but when you make gimbal calibration, it hits the upper side of bumper stuck at calibration %60 so make sure to do not over look upside or do not make gimbal calibration. If mütze share the step file maybe I can try to thin middle section of the upper hook or make a hole Idk.

In my case, the gimbal was hitting the lower beam, so I had to file off the excess and it's ok

Hi. After Plug it, I could not remove the cover anymore. Really I am stuck with it. Even if I push/press one site, it does not work. Do you have any idea about other way in order to remove cover ?

It's best to try to loosen the lower part first, then pull it up slightly and push it forward from the rear part of the drone

To remove the cover from the installed protection, you can alternatively press forward through the opening against the hook
