Description

Stop for saw guide tails

I made this stop for plunge saw guide rails it fits with the one from Festool and Makita.

If the stop is flipped you can use it as a router stop.

It is a quick print and if you want two it is a good idea to mirror the “stop”-file.

You will also need:

1x M6x30 hex head bold
1x M6 nut or M6 heat shrink insert

the makita rail has a sort of extra lip, I modified the print with a coping-saw, as I am not skilled enough in changing the 3d design. after this great fit! thanks

The print file is excellent and the result is very beautiful. I was initially unsure if the printer would stop when the nut needed to be integrated. This could be mentioned in the description. Therefore, I monitored the print for a while at the given time to interrupt it myself if necessary. But it paused automatically because it was stored that way in the file. So everything is perfect. Many thanks for that.

Great design and easy to print. The way it captures the nut in the design is a great idea. No more losing them when adjusting my stops on my track saw rails.
