Description

This is a remix of an older model from Thingiverse.

I've corrected several issues that previously complicated the printing process. Some parts required repairs to be sliced correctly, while others were not perfectly flat on the build plate.

The model is capable of standing on its own, but I strongly recommend printing the stand, given the considerable weight of the model.

For assembly, I have included the original creator's instructions.

You will need cyanoacrylate glue for assembly.

If you are seeking the best filament to match the blue from the TV series, I recommend Polymaker Polyterra Sapphire Blue.

this was a lot of work but was totally worth it. I later came to know about fully articulated version of this model on Thingiverse but it was still cool. Loved painting it.

this is such a great print. I've had so much fun printing this one. One thing I notice is that the middle joint of the leg are tiny bit longer than the original design, I was thinking maybe getting rid of the middle joint might work too... anyways!! thanks for the great model! h

printed Great. assembly was a bit fiddle and I've lost a few fingers, but it is a great model. I may redo it at half size because it is enormous!!! Lighter is for scale for those who.are interested.

still in assembly phase, however the pieces printed perfectly! I'll add more photos and a full review once it's complete! very impressed so far! the detail on the Tochikoma camera lenses looks absolutely amazing!
