This model is composed of multiple segments connected by hinges, allowing for flexible movement, resembling a real bird.

I provide two versions with different segment counts: 51 and 118. Regardless of which version you choose, you'll experience the lifelike posture and smooth movements of the bird.

To enhance the success rate of printing, it's recommended to ensure that the printing bed is clean before printing. If possible, applying a small amount of glue can help improve adhesion during printing.

In my multiple attempts, even with the brim turned off, I still achieved decent print results. However, since each person's machine and print bed are different, to enhance everyone's printing success rate, I opted to turn on the brim. Removing these seemingly crazy brims is easy with just a pair of tweezers. If your printer consistently performs well, you can indeed turn off the brim.

I have Brim turned off and it still shows up. Is it part of the model? Too much trouble to take it off. I really don’t think it needed

The brim is not part of the model

might not be “part of the model” but it absolutely is in the 3mf file you uploaded … I am testing but currently impossible to remove the locked in brim at 60% size. Now testing the profile someone else uploaded as “supportless” that does not have the brim, and Bambu Studio does not add a brim to on “auto-brim”. If this profile works I will rate this model. It looks gorgeous even with the 51 piece at 60%

The Brim is turned on under objects, instead of global.

Man this is one sweet model! Love the design and how you did this. Printed this on my A1 mini flawlessly. I should have turned off brim. That wasn't fun removing! Again beautiful print! Thanks for sharing!

What filament did you use?

why did you force a brim onto this? even with brim turned off on in Bambu Studio it slices with a brim?

the “no supports” profile someone else uploaded has no brim

This is printed at 60% … impossible to get a clean finish with the brims. I will try the “supportless” profile next

You have it turned off in "global" but you need to also turn it off in "Objects"

No Brim - 118 Piece (large) -Variable Layer height
6⭐️ Printed amazingly without any brim on my A1. Just needed to separate two feathers on each of the wings and torch some of the stringing that happened. I used Elegoo’s Silk Blue Purple Black filament. Can out looking amazing. The problem now is trying to find a place to display it.

This model is beautiful and so much fun to play with. The joints are strong and have held together well through lots of play. My kids absolutely love it. The pictures don’t do it justice, it’s so much prettier in person.

really fun print. prints perfect. I printed with brims, which it was supposed to need, but it peeled off perfectly from my Bambu smooth plate. I used inland PLA silk rainbow

Looks like some kind of adhesion or bed leveling issue.

this was sliced with a brim print looks good articulation seems like it will be good once the crazy brim is removed. outer layer broke off well but just about everything else is glued together by the brim.

Sure, you can turn off the brim feature. In my numerous attempts, even with the brim turned off, it still prints well. However, since each machine varies, to improve everyone's printing success rate, I opted to turn on the brim. Removing this seemingly wild brim is easy with just a pair of tweezers
