The perfect way to bring your favorite wildlife species into your home!

Wildlife Conservation is a topic that has been very near and dear to my heart since I was a small child, so it was only a matter of time for me to expand my Kit Card series to include various wildlife species. As the same with all of my others Kit Cards, these designs are simple and easy to print, but instantly recognizable as your favorite animal.

In the universe are billions of galaxies, in our galaxy are billions of planets, but there is Only One Earth. It is important to remind ourselves that we only get one chance to protect and conserve the natural beauty of this world, and it is my absolute pleasure to bring awareness and life to some of the species that are most endangered of never being seen again.

Current species included:

  • African Forest Elephant
  • African Lion (Male and Female)
  • Bonobo (P)
  • Dromedary Camel (P)
  • Giant Panda (P)
  • Hippopotamus
    • Moo Deng (P)
  • Linnaeus's Two-Toed Sloth (P)
  • Llama (P)
  • Meerkat (P)
  • Mountain Gorilla
  • Polar Bear
  • Raccoon (P)
  • Ring Tailed Lemur (P)
  • West African Giraffe
  • White Rhinoceros

Animals above marked with “(P)” are located exclusively on Patreon, link below.

The kit card connectors were designed to easily snap away, but for the cleanest finish it is recommended to use snips to remove them. Each animal may have a slightly different assembly, but the fundamentals remain the same amongst all of them.

Assembly Overview:

  1. Snap all connectors to free each piece
  2. Slide the ears into the cutout at the top of the head
    1. There are animals (such as the Lion and Gorilla) that use pegs and holes instead. For these you simply place the peg through the hole in the body and then squeeze the other side onto the peg.
  3. Slide the larger connector into the cutout at the front of the body
  4. Slide the smaller connector into the cutout at the back of the body
  5. Align to the two cutouts on the legs with the connectors and slide in
  6. Repeat for the last leg

They are awesome. My daughter gets a Lion King themed birthday party and I will print all African animals as gifts for the treasure hunt.

On the images there is also a meerkat, but in the models not. Is there no model availaible? Would fit good to The Lion King :)

I like the models very much. The only problem I have is that the elephant's ears or tusks don't hold together and you need glue. Is there perhaps a solution without glue? I haven't tried the other models yet, so the small parts will definitely be the same.

Have you verified that your filament settings are properly calibrated? There is no tolerance between those pegs and the hole they secure into, so it should be snug. This is the same for the elephant, lion, and gorilla, but the others use a different technique to put the ears and body together.

Yes, my filament is calibrated, otherwise I have absolutely no problems in that direction. I have the feeling that the pins where the other ear or the other tusk is supposed to be are just a little too short. It doesn't snap together :(

That is possible, I kept them short to keep them tight against the body, but let me play around with it and see if I can make an improvement!

If you haven't already, you may try to calibrate your filament to make sure things go together smoothly. The front connector and back connector should be roughly the same height on both the body and legs. They don't seem to be fitting together properly in your photo.

They fit perfect, Problem is that my daugther play with it and the front leg is broken a little bit. so thats why i say could be more stabil.

The rhino kit printed really well on our P1S. It is hard to find quality rhino 3D prints, but this one fit the bill perfectly!

My wife was looking for something to give to her students at the end of this school year. When I suggested a kit card for each student and found and showed her these, she fell in love with the idea. I have printed 11 of 25 copies so far and they are awesome. Thank you for making these.

Absolutely loved this STL! Printed beautifully—no support issues, perfect bed adhesion, and the model came out flawless with all parts intact. I made this adorable elephant for my daughter, and she’s absolutely thrilled with it; she’s been carrying it everywhere since it finished printing! Huge thanks to the designer for creating such a delightful and well-thought-out piece. Really appreciate your work!
