****ADDED F3D FILE TO LISTING 12/30/2024****
I am not planning on doing anything else to this model. The file is messy but I uploaded the F3D file if anyone wants to make modifications to it in Fusion 360. Good luck :)
****UPDATED 6/15/2024****
Since it seems a lot of people like Hello Kitty, I update this model to be stronger at smaller sizes. I also made keychains with this model.
For the keychains, do not scale. The models are uploaded in multiple sizes and they do not like being scaled.
Full size is about 5 inches tall. The new design has 3d buttons and ridge for neck line so it is seen in single color, cleaned up the modeling for all parts of the head, changed the style of every joint, she can stand now, and some of the profiles have chain links for keychain or necklace.
All of these models have been tested in multi color except for the full size design which i used as a purge tower to save material. I have printed all tests in basic PLA and have done dozens of durability tests on the joints while trying every joint design I could think of. The current design is the most durable and can work down to 30% size. Note that for profiles with flexi shoulders, the weakest direction to move it is towards her back. It gives leverage and allows to joint to break. My 2 year old daughter has been playing with all sizes of this model for about two weeks and none of them have broken.
**** All profiles are using 4 walls. Please use no fewer than 4 walls to keep durability. ****
Let me know what you think!
Please keep in mind that any profile updated before 6/15/2024 is using the older loop design for the model.
Yes you can sell the prints. Please do not sell the file itself.
I uploaded versions for the A1 Mini and one for the bigger printers. For the bigger plate, If using the A1, you can add one more of most models in the bottom right of the plate. If using the X1C, you may need to remove the bottom row if you are using flow rate calibration.
**** Old design info ****
This is my first attempt at a flexi. I did try it at 50% and 75% scale. The 50% the joints were too weak and 75% was good. It is not perfect but it is the best I can do :)
