Description

Tiny Little Book miniature with hidden compartment inside.

Model inspired by old hardcover books design.

Looks best when printed with pastel color filaments.

Tested it on A1 Mini with Bambu Lab Matte Filaments.

Print notes:

  • 0.2 Nozzle is recommended to maintain the details.
  • 0.08 Layer Height.

great model; however, I did have some issues with adhesion for the cover, and had to adjust some things to get a successful print. goes great with my full-size version, I must say!

@CADknecht I would suggest cleaning the plate with some dishwashing fluid, for me this resolved all bed adhesion problems even for very small parts.

I use 91% isopropyl alcohol, and it works very well, but it is not an ultimate solution in my experience.

Yes, per my experience IPA is good for daily cleaning (before printing each model) but after some time (few models) I still need to do a proper cleaning with dishwashing fluid... then the plate behaves as new.

issues with speed of profile, was plenty of glue on my bed. could be that my nozzle is bad.

Okay weird, i used the standard textured pei without glue or brim and had no problems

Since the contact area is not very big for speed profiles, I think Brim should help indeed.

To start, I printed this as-is from the print profile. I printed on a smooth plate, with plenty of BL Build Plate Adhesive. I like the print. It's a good model, and a cute little book. It is, however, quite small without resizing. If you don't resize, it is small enough to be about the size of a marble or two, and will fit a small pill (not tylenol size, smaller.), just in case you were wondering what to use it for at such size.

printed great had to rotate the book 90° on my a1 for bed adhesion issues. no brim needed. sunlu machete green silk pla. would be great if there was a book shelf to go with it
