print was great! no issues at all! might want to turn ironing on for the top of the helmet though.

thanks for the rating and comment. it seems like you didnt print the .12 layer hight like the profile was configured to print with, seems more like .2 and that would be more like the top of the helmet seen in your picture, try to slice with 0.12 layer hight and compare the preview with your helmet. look for "rings" on the top

I printed this for my son in Bambu Black PLA, .12 layer height. it came out very nice. There is a little damage from the supports, but that’s along the bottom edge where you’re not likely to see it. The strangest thing (and maybe it’s supposed to be that way?), is that the head tilts to the right a little. Otherwise, it’s awesome. great job by the designer!

the model is designed with the head tilted. you are the first to notice :) if your filament and printer is not all fully calibrated or your support settings is not dialed in supports can damage. I did not get any damage at my print. overall i am happy you liked it . regards

Used Bambu matte pla. My headset fits 😂. Have to admit I was a bit scared to use 15% lightning infill and made it 20 😅. Almost 1kg of filament if you would use like 10% gyroid 😱

yep, lightning infill works great for these models. 1kg is a bit to much for a headset stand. thanks for sharing mate Hope you enjoy :-)

Great looking stand, I'm not sold on the base, but it's barely noticeable. There is some printing artefact on the top, I'm not sure if it's the filament or whether by design - in either case, I cannot see it where the model is standing. Thanks!

the base is actually the top of a lightsaber scaled up. And I see the things at the top, maybe it was printing tl fast and the filament did not have time to stiffen. anyways, thanks for the rating and support mate

printed fine. Removing support was a little difficult because the walls of the model are quite thin. But good result

Profile: 0.12mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill. Time: 13h,28min Printed really nice on my fresh X1-Carbon. ( 3th print on the machine ) Used a cheap branded shiney PLA at 205c to test the first big print. Support came off nice with a little damage from the supports, but with a little heat it went away for most of it. it's hardly visible since it's at the bottem. Next time i will use an Matt filament and higher quality material. Great model and preset settings! Thanks!

excellent print. My P1S ran out of filament 7 hours into the print. I had a second spool of black PLA in the AMS but the filament was taped to the spool and so it hung the printer up. I didn’t get home until 10 hours after it paused and I didn’t hold much hope for it. But, I swapped the spool and continued the print for another 5.5 hours. Glad I did, it came out awesome. My grandson is going to love it. Worth a boost for sure. The design/profile had no issues. Nice job.
