UPDATE: Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback and support from the community, I've decided to create a “short” variant of this mason jar. It prints exactly the same and uses the same lid! If you feel like mixing and matching, check it out here!

Short version measures 92mm tall without the lid, tall version measures 120mm tall without the lid.~

A simple, elegant mason jar that prints in vase mode (can also be printed regularly). The lid does NOT print in vase mode, so I've uploaded two separate profiles for your convenience.

Vase mode profile is set to .8 wall thickness for strength.

Please note the seam for the lid is set to “back” as I prefer to be able to hide them as best I can on cylindrical items. If you prefer other seam placement please adjust.

I decided to try clear filament, with your settings, and it turned out great. Then I tried .4mm walls and it turned out more transparent, but broke easily. Thank you!

Yeah vase mode can be fragile for sure at thinner wall settings. Looks great!

printed in Hatchbox transparent white pla with this for a lid https://makerworld.com/en/models/16808#profileId-15580 had to put some change in it for stability. Grandkids are going to love it!

May I ask what the purpose of the funnel lid is? It is a great idea and I can think of many uses for it, I am just curious as to what you are using for. Also, what the thing that is attached to the funnel lid above?

It's for putting coins in and they race around the funnel and down into the jar. It basically gets them aligned correctly so they spiral many times.

these were actually a really quick print for the size of the file I actually enlarged to $125% both the lid and the jar in order to make it larger and was very pleased with the ability to modify the file to suit my needs. I made them out of pla and I made like five or six different colors and gave them away to friends filled with Halloween candy. the lids screw on perfectly I had very little trouble getting the threads to match up and screw on I would love to see them with different designs on the front this one had Honeycombs a bee and the measuring lines some other cute designs on the front would be awesome
