A remix of @筋斗云の点线面 's great design
Key changes:
- Height reduced by approximately 15%, now only 6cm tall.
- Filament usage and print time also reduced drastically.
- Drawer assembly redesigned, can't tell it‘s made of two parts now.
- Dimensions and gaps adjusted, smooth damping effect when sliding drawers.
- The outermost compartment of the drawer suitable for glue.
- Compartment reserved for original accessory box, and usable space above its lid.
- Hold spare build plate better as a ‘clip’ mechanism on the end of the slot.
- It will be more accessories like inserts for the drawer or hygrometer holder etc.
Print guideline:
Manual organic tree support for Base part1 & 2, minimal 3walls and 15% gyroid infill.
For certain materials, it seems like a good idea to add a brim out of caution.
Can only print with P1P/P1S/X1C, not planning version for A1 mini as the model just too big to fit.
PS: You Should attach some shock-absorbing foam or rubber pads under the base to reduce vibrations.
Remix from @筋斗云の点线面's A1mini-bottom drawer
Major changes:
- Height reduced by 15% to about 6cm, greatly reducing material consumption and printing time.
- The assembly of the drawer has been redesigned, and you can hardly tell that it is made of two parts.
- Dimensions and gaps have been finely adjusted, and now the drawer feels very smooth when inserted.
- The outermost compartment of the drawer is specially suitable for putting glue, and this glue is really YYDS.
- A compartment is reserved for matching the original accessory box, and small objects can be placed above the lid.
- It can store two spare printing plates, and the rear end will be fixed after insertion to prevent it from shaking.
- There will be more accessories updated, such as drawer dividers, hygrometer brackets, etc.
Printing precautions:
Please use manual organic tree support for the base frame (already set), 3 walls, 15% spiral filling, and decide whether to add Brim based on your own situation.
Only P1P/P1S/X1C can be used for printing, and there is no consideration for modifying the version that can be printed on mini. The model is really too big, and the effect of simply dividing the parts will not be good.
Note: Please attach some shock-absorbing foam or rubber pads to the back of the base to reduce the vibration during printing. Tests have shown that the effect is even better than placing the machine directly on the table.
