Description

There has been some confusion with the print profiles, if you download the raw files it will include all the barrel lengths whereas the profiles have one option.

I have been amazed with how all the Helldivers 2 weapons that we've modeled have performed, so as a thank you we decided to release this file for free instead of paid like most of our files. IF YOU WANT TO SUPPORT OUR WORK BUY OUR FILES ON CULTS: All the 3D models of theforgingcosmic・Cults (cults3d.com)

yes, it is big, it is big in-game as well.

Through my testing this has a very satisfying and durable revolving system that relies on a printed bearing. MAKE SURE TO PRINT “CYLINDER” ON THE FLAT FACE WITHOUT SUPPORTS IT IS CRUCIAL FOR THE INTERNAL BEARING.

This is a semi-functional prop like everything we model! It offers a moving trigger, hammer, cylinder and removable ammo!

To ideally make the trigger function recommend using:

  • (1) M3 x 20mm bolts
  • (1) ¼"x7/8" extension spring (There are metric and imperial spring kits that have equivalents, most of them are the same just rebranded on amazon)

For the hammer:

  • (1) M3 x 20mm bolt
  • (1) 7/32"x1" extension spring (There are metric and imperial spring kits that have equivalents, most of them are the same just rebranded on amazon)

For the cylinder and round function:

  • (8) 6x3mm magnets (make sure to position the polarities correctly, and it should be press fit)
  • (1) roughly 3mm diameter 70mm long metal rod, I used a nail and cut off the head.

Spring kit we used: 200 Piece Muzerdo Spring Assortment Set - Zinc Plated Extension and Compression Springs Kit: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific (BTW all our files, if they use springs, use these)

Appears to be identical just metric: Ruibapa 200PCS Spring Assortment Kit Zinc Plated Extension and Compression Springs Kit Include Assorted Size Small Springs for Home Repairs & DIY P-038-kit: Amazon.com: Industrial & Scientific

There is a nonfunctional trigger/hammer insert that replaces files: trigger spring pin, hammer spring pin, mechanical housing left/right, trigger, and hammer.

The files also include SNUB and LONG barreled versions with their respective flashlights.

See gif for assembly, is pretty straight forward.

If you have questions post comments, we will try to answer them as best as possible.

recommended print orientation:

I offer guns and other models on my cults and etsy pages. I will be working through a lot of the guns and post them there.

I intend to post more grenades here. All the 3D models of theforgingcosmic・Cults (cults3d.com) theForgingCosmic - Etsy

I appreciate every download! <3

Give me feedback, I will update as much as need be.

Please talk to me if you would like to sell prints. (also don't steal our files! we know who you are, you'll make us regret giving these for free)

parts printout fine. just waiting on some prints to show up and also to sand and paint. I hope that the creator does make a in depth video on how to assemble the gun though.

The video is great! Definitely will be helpful to me assembling it! I got the springs. Just need to sand/paint and then I'll share the finished product. Thanks again for making the video!

Hey there first let me say this is a great print. One question. Is the Hinge suppose to go all the way through the Cylinder. I printed jus like you have it on the print plate, but I am not able to get it to pit all the way in. Do I need to bore a hole in it?

If I am interpreting this correctly, yes it doesnt go all the way through. there is a gap between the face of the hinge and the face of the cylinder

in the middle of the cylinder, there might be some excess support. I had to kind of bore my inside out to get the whole section to fit nicely.

Printed awesome! Instead of using springs, I used tiny rubberbands and they worked great! I added a minor multi-color element to my print to make it more realistic to the game

Excellent model! Press-fits together quite well before gluing, and very satisfying to fidget with the cylinder. I had some issues with the bearing in the cylinder coming loose, but once it's inserted it's got enough friction to not slide off without some effort, which is fine for my purposes. I slightly modified the Flashlight to hollow it out to slide a keychain flashlight in there later, and also made the yellow stripe an individual model due to a painting snafu.

Looks amazing! We were aware earlier on that there was an issue with the cylinder when slicing in Bambu slicer, so if you downloaded the files earlier on they would have not printed completely connected. Otherslicers like Orca picked it up fine. It should be updated now

this looks great, but the gif is definitely not straight forward due to low pixel quality and the fact that it is spinning while it's being disassembled...
