Description

I made this to cover the ugly wires in the back of the printer. I made my Fusion360 file as well as a STEP file available so you can customize with your own designs too! If you don't know how to modify those you can watch this great tutorial which shows you how to customize right inside Bambu Studio: https://youtu.be/UekEbg_ZkgI?si=TaE2P90bvD7EuFzf (Shout out to Ashley's Print Shop YouTube channel)

Not only is this a cover, but it's a cool and easy way to add more customization to your printer. And since you can see this from the live webcam view you can add your logo for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, etc. and show off to your followers!

I have tested this model with PLA, PETG, PETG-CF, ABS and ASA but I don't recommend using PLA. Since this is a part that goes inside the printer chamber it's best to print with a heat resistant filament like PETG or ABS/ASA.

Please remix this model and share how you customize it!

Printed wit DuraPro ASA from extrudr. It's a bit tight but it fits.

Took me a couple tries to get it situated in the right spot, but I was just being too gentle. Looks and fits amazing! :D

Great! yeah it should click in with a bit of force. Also depending on material used. PEGT it’s a bit easier than ABS for example. But it has to fit tight in order to not be in the way of the extruder.

Oh sorry. I think I forgot to mention that I used PETG. I'm relatively new to using this printer and so I'm only just now figuring out how to rate profiles. Anyway, its a great part & I'll likely print a custom one later on, but I just started using PETG yesterday so I only have black. lol.

Cant lock it into place. Seem loose for my p1s but still can stay in place.

It should snap in place tightly. The ones I’ve tested actually are fairly tight. Are you sure you’re installing it all the way?

you was rite. I didnt push it all the way. Need some force and now its tight. Is easy to remove it? Is there a way to safely remove it?

Just here to add that it might effect your printing, had some issues with layer shift ever since ive instaled it and it looks like it knock in to it when it goes to do a colour swap so that it looses steps, im running a X1C so keep an eye for it. Would love to have it on but layers are more importante than looks xD

Hope you checked the clearance before you started printing as I suggested. If it’s installed correctly there will be no contact and won’t interfere with printing at all.

Can you tell me what went wrong? I have tested this a lot with different filaments and other people have been downloading it and using it without problems. Maybe you’re having an issue I can help with?
