Description

This filament swatch has the same dimensions as the original Bambu Filament Swatches, but I've added a transparency test and a label.

The swatch has a slight recess to center a label measuring 12mm x 22mm.

The printer i used for the labels is a SUPVAN E10

The transparency tests, starting from the left, are 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, and 1.0 mm thick.

The swatch fits perfectly in any display case, such as this one.

Converted them slightly to include a 10x2mm magnet, I then UV print the label on top, makes my storage nice and sexy :)

Simple design, completely sufficient for the filament overview. The free field also offers enough space for the most important information. I inserted the font in Bambu Studio (font size 4, height 0.4 mm).

nice but a version with few more steps like 1mm 1.5mm and 2mm would be good , light shines also through the part where the sticker should go… also a template for the sticker would be nice 😅😅

hi, i tried while designing it to add more steps, but it came out with each one been too thin , i know that the swatch itself its not thick enough, but the base idea was to have the same shape of the original bambu lab swatch therefore make it compatible with all the boxes and organizers available online. I would love to share the template for the sticker but i've made it on my printer app wch doesnt allow export, anyway anything you can print on a standard 12mm x 22mm sticker will fit.

I just put text in the models that I change depending on the details. I made a couple and am waiting on my 0.2mm nozzle until I finish the rest, but even using 0.4mm nozzle you can still read it. Just make the text as large as you can fit it. I sink the text down into the model with a 1.00 thickness.

Maybe you can create a second "thicker" version. So for each spool, we'd print 2 swatches. One with 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8, 1.0, and a second with 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 1.8, 2.0.
